Guten Morgen aus Great Barrier Island!

Die Sonne scheint, die Vögel zwitschern und das Küchenradio läuft.

Aotea FM ist die einzige Radiostation auf Great Barrier Island und wird von Freiwilligen betrieben. Die spielen ziemlich gute Musik! Malcolm, der Partner von Robyn, meiner Gastgeberin, meinte, ich könnte auch mal eine Show machen. Ob ich mich das traue weiß ich noch nicht, aber hier ist auf jeden Fall der Link zum Live Stream, falls ihr den Vibe von Great Barrier miterleben wollt :) aoteafm.org

Aotea FM ist außerdem die einzige Radiostation in Neuseeland, die komplett von Solarenergie betrieben wird!

PS: Der Sender ist nur von 19 Uhr abends bis 9 Uhr deutscher Zeit morgens live.

Good morning from Great Barrier Island!

The sun is shining, the birds are tweeting and the kitchen radio is playing my favourite music!

Aotea FM ist the only radio station on the island and is run by volunteers. They have some pretty good music giving me the perfect soundtrack for my time here! Malcolm, who is the partner of my host Robyn, said I could host a show as well if I wanted to. PS: The radio is only on air from 7 pm to 9 am European time.
